Foundations of biomedical laboratory methods, development of technical skills: safety, lab math, total testing process, method validation, Quality Control and Assurance. Emphasis on documentation and analysis, analytical techniques, microscopy, spectrophotometry, chromatography, electrochemical, immunologic, nucleic acid (molecular) techniques. Recommended Prerequisites: 8 credits general chemistry, 3 credits organic chemistry
